The Chapter supported the parade by honoring 4  World War II Marines aboard "Marine One" Golf Cart.  We had the honor of leading the 86 entries with Marine veterans from Korea, Viet Nam and the Cold War walking to escort the W W II Marines along the parade route.

 

The Palm Springs Bag Pipe Band accompanied the Marines and stopped several times to play the Marine's Hymn for the 15,000 - 20,000 people attending the parade.

 

An Oktoberfest Beer Garden was run by the 1st Marine Division Association Marines this year and become very popular as the temperature was in the mid 90's during the parade.
